Dr. Perry was raised in Covington, LA and gained an appreciation for medicine from his mother whom is a registered nurse and instructed at "big charity” for 32 years in the school of nursing. On graduating high school he completed his football career at LSU where he was honored as Team Captain. Dr. Perry received both his Medical and Orthopaedic Surgery training from LSU. He furthered his specialty training with an Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Perry specializes in athletic injuries, arthroscopic surgery, fracture care and total joint replacement.
Dr. Perry is one of Lafayette Surgical Specialty Hospital's Physician Owners.
