Dr. Kasarla earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Kakatiya Medical College in Warangal, India. During his internship, he completed rotations in internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, emergency medicine, family practice, obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Kasarla served as casualty medical officer while a resident in the department of emergency services at Medwin Hospital in Hyderabad, India. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology, a member of the American Board of Pain Medicine, the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians and the Lafayette Parish Medical Society. He has practiced in Louisiana since 2000.
